"Episode 14 of Season 2,” he immediately calls out in an Entertainment Weekly blog post, describing a scene that, upon a quick check, we find out actually comes from Episode 12 of Season 2.

The Louisiana native goes on to recount a “cathartic” scene in which a “distraught” Damon Salvatore, who is lying in the middle of the road drinking from a flask, meets a woman named Jessica whom he compels, emotionally unloads upon, then kills.
But that’s not the only scene that comes to the former Lost actor’s mind.

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
