The Walking Dead Marathon Leads Into Season 6 Premiere — Here’s AMC’s Schedule
If you’re not one of the millions of fans who tunes into The Walking Dead each Sunday (when it’s in season, of course) but you’re looking to change that before the start of Season 6, then you’re in luck!
As they have done in years past, AMC has scheduled a TWD series marathon that will culminate in the world premiere of The Walking Dead Season 6, Episode 1: ”First Time Again” on Sunday, October 11.

The series marathon begins tonight, October 5, at 6:00 p.m. ET with the pilot episode — Season 1, Episode 1: “Days Gone By” and the remainder of the shortened freshman season follows. The Season 2 premiere airs at 12:30 a.m. on October 6, and then picks up with Season 2, Episode 2 at 6 p.m. that night.
Basically, the episodes run from 6 p.m-1 a.m the following day each day (with some breaks for an Season 6 preview) until 1 a.m. on October 10. At that point there are some repeated airings before the marathon picks up at 4:27 p.m. with Season 4, Episode 5: “Internment.”

From that point on, the marathon runs straight through until the debut of the Season 6 opener at 9:00 p.m.
A binge-watch of these proportions requires apocalyptic-like provisions, so stock up ASAP!
The Walking Dead Season 6 premieres with a 90-minute episode on October 11 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
