The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman Reveals Who Negan Killed!
The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman may be sorry about angering fans with that brutal Season 6 finale cliffhanger, but he’s not above having a little fun with the situation as well.
The Kentucky native joined Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick on his Comedy Central series @midnight on May 25 for some fun and games, and when Chris broached the topic of terrible cliffhangers, it would have been odd if RK didn’t have a laugh.
Each panelist was tasked with coming up with the very worst cliffhanger ending for a TV series, and being a Walking Dead fan, Chris mentioned The Walking Dead's most recent cliffhanger and claimed not to have the answer to everyone's question regarding who Negan killed.

Thankfully, Robert is in the know.
When it came time to reveal the terrible cliffhangers, the TWD mastermind teased Negan's kill (via Comicbook.com) saying, “On the next exciting episode of The Walking Dead, we find out how mad fans are when they find out Negan killed Carl in the Season 6 cliffhanger.”
“People wanted to know!” he added as the crowd got rowdy. “I'm not gonna make you wait all summer! I'm not an a—hole!”

It’s clear Robert is joking (especially because Carl Grimes is his favorite character and one who develops an interesting relationship with Negan in the comics) but we give him props for having some fun with the devoted fans.
