Daryl Dixon, Glenn Rhee, and Michonne were all captured by Saviors in The Walking Dead Season 6, Episode 15: “East,” but is it possible Carol Peletier and Morgan Jones, who are still wandering the woods, could come to their rescue?

Carol’s saved various members of her group on more than one occasion (Season 5 premiere, anyone?) and despite her new reluctance to kill people, we still think she’d unleash some carnage in order to save her family.

On the contrary, Morgan’s “all life is precious” attitude is ingrained in his head, but gradually he’s seeing not everyone can be saved.

When asked how Carol and Morgan might handle realizing Dwight has their people trapped, Norman Reedus tells The Hollywood Reporter, “I don't know, they're both totally different characters. We've seen so much of Carol in the last couple years and how she doesn't want to kill anymore and that's the battle she's still fighting.”

“And then you have Morgan, who is doing that the opposite way,” the 47-year-old adds. “He's coming to terms with the fact that you have to kill. Those two characters are dealing with the same issues just differently.”

We haven’t seen Carol since she (probably) fled one of the Saviors she wasn’t able to kill on the first try, and last we saw Morgan he sent Rick Grimes back to Alexandria and agreed to look for Carol on his own.

We can’t say for sure whether one or both of them will find Dwight holding their pals hostage, but if they do, Norman says “they may approach that problem in a different way.”

If their plan of attack involves beating the crap out of the Saviors, then we’re all for it!

The 90-minute Walking Dead Season 6 finale airs Sunday, April 3 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
