‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7, Episode 4 Will Show a Rick/Negan Confrontation
Good news, The Walking Dead fans — the wait is almost over.
And it will be a special affair as the episode is set to run for an extended 85 minutes rather than its typical 60.
The episode, entitled “Service,” will be the first time we return to Rick and the gang after Abraham and Glenn’s brutal killings.
This is where Negan and his Saviours are based, and where Daryl is held captive.
The last time we saw Rick, however, was in the season opener, where he was emotionally and physically tortured by Negan and forced to comply with his demands.
In previews we even see the leader saying, “I’m not in charge anymore, Negan is.”
But as TWD fans know, Rick doesn’t stay down for long. And with a revenge-ridden Maggie by his side, we’re expecting an epic showdown in Episode 4.
The actress who plays Maggie, Lauren Cohan, even teased her character will fight for her vengeance in the new season.
“You’ll see how she lives on in honor of Glenn and in vengeance of Negan, and it’s a real war in her brain, and in protection of the baby,” she told Entertainment Weekly.
“Within all the drive and the violence that the group has to perform and to undergo, there is going to be honor to our fallen.”
So if you wanted more Negan, you got it — just don’t say we didn’t warn you.
The Walking Dead Season 7 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
