Fans (and Norman Reedus) are excited for filming to begin on The Walking Dead’s Season 8 — and it looks like we won’t have to wait very long.

The possible Writers Guild strike has fans justifiably worried Season 8 could be put on an indefinite hold.

The strike is said to directly affect shows like TWD with shorter seasons and exclusive writing contracts.

Despite all the uncertainty, Negan actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan is raring to go.

While speaking at Walker Stalker Con in San Francisco, Jeffrey admitted he didn’t have any idea whether or not his character was even alive (he hasn’t read a script yet) but he’s ready to begin shooting either way.

Then Jeffrey let the shooting date slip — TWD will begin filming Season 8 in just 10 days!

With how persistent TWD fans are, we’re betting half the season is spoiled by the end of the month!
