‘RHOBH’ Star Yolanda Foster Officially Files For Divorce, Seeks Spousal Support
It’s official: Yolanda Foster has filed for divorce from her husband of four years, David Foster.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star filed the papers Monday (January 11) in Los Angeles citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
According to the documents obtained by People, the 52-year-old is seeking spousal fees and legal fees from the 66-year-old Grammy-winning record producer.
The split officially took place in November after nine years together. The public later found out about the breakup on December 1 when they released a joint statement — coincidentally on the same night RHOBH debuted its sixth season.
When the couple announced the separation it seemed as though things ended on good grounds, and the former model confirmed that during the December 8 episode of Watch What Happens Live.
“We had a beautiful love story that I will treasure forever,” she said at the time. “Unfortunately it was not strong enough to withstand the circumstances that came our way.”
The circumstances the mother of three referred to is her Lyme disease, which she’s been battling for years. She said the illness “changed the dynamic” of their relationship.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
