Yolanda Hadid Quit ‘RHOBH’ Due to Demotion By Producers — Report
Just a week ago the 52-year-old confirmed via Instagram that she won’t be returning for Season 7, calling it a “choice” but also revealing she’d hoped for a “more graceful exit.”
I would have loved a more graceful exit then "Season 6" but sometimes we don't get to control the ending of the chapters in our life.............. I am leaving what's over without denying its past importance in my life. I believe that every exit is an new entry and with that in mind I say goodbye to my @Bravotv Family as I continue to focus on a my recovery, my children and bring back the privacy within our Home........... Thank you to all the fans for your love and unwavering support these past 4 years. I am grateful for the housewife experience and all it has taught me. I'am excited about this CHOICE and look forward to the next chapter of my life.................. #RHOBH #TimeToSayGoodbye with #Gratitude @evolutionusa @bravoandy @bravotv #WWHL
Well, a source tells Entertainment Tonight the model decided to leave the show because producers had downgraded her role from a full-time H’wife to just a friend of the H’wives.
Apparently after hearing the plan, the mother of two told producers she’d only stay if she could continue as a main star and they declined her request, leading to her departure.
In the end, the source insists that there’s no Taylor Swift-esque bad blood between the former model, the network, or the production team.
Last year was a rough one for the Dutch beauty, as her Lyme disease — as well as the diagnoses of two of her three children — was called into question by her castmates and her divorce from David Foster was made extremely public.
“I am leaving what’s over without denying its past importance on my life,” the reality star wrote in her goodbye post. “Thank you to all the fans for your love and unwavering support these past 4 years.”
Season 7 of RHOBH is set to begin filming at the end of June.
